Soma 6-Cup Glass Carafe Plant-Based Water Filtration System, White Review

I bought this just over a month ago and the glass has already broken with regular use. I was about to put it on the table when it cracked and spilled water all over. Too bad the glass is so fragile, otherwise it's a great product.

I love the look of this water purifier and I love its history and purpose. However, when pouring, it sometimes pours unevenly no matter how slowly you go and the water splashes all over the counter. Otherwise I love this product! I bought a glass water bottle and it's amazing.

Glass wanted. Most manufacturers make these filter pitchers out of plastic, but who wants their filtered water wrapped in plastic before they drink it?! The water tastes great. The shape was strange at first but once you use it you will see the magnificence of this design. Highly recommended.

I love the taste and look of this water filter. It's also very easy to clean. There are a few issues though, including accurate filling (e.g. when you need to fill a water bottle) and slow filtration speed (which is made worse in my arid climate). Despite the shortcomings, I'm glad I have the device and have bought one for each of my households. I just want the operation to be faster.

This is a stylish glass vase with a poorly designed spout that takes some getting used to to avoid spilling water when pouring. But more importantly, the water retains an unpleasant taste. I have carefully switched between Soma filtered water and Britta water and Britta water has a neutral taste. Soma has a persistent unpleasant aftertaste. There is only a small space to fill water, so you have to wait for it to be filtered out, and then refill, etc., so that more water is filtered, so that the actual use does not take so long. I've been using it for 2 years and love it. I chose this filter mainly because I want to limit my exposure to plastic (assuming plastic is still present in this product) and I love the glass carafe. I've noticed a lot of reviewers mention mold growth and I agree. can happen, but I think any environment with humidity and heat will lead to mold; To prevent mold growth, I take it apart every week or two and quickly clean all the parts. I bought this water filter to filter out bad taste and harmful chemicals and because it was the filter with the least amount of plastic.
