Works great, perfect temperature

For the average user, the Soldier is perfect. The melting temperature is suitable for most projects. I highly recommend them.

Really good wire for projects

This is a very flexible wire that doesn't require much manual manipulation, it's great and great for 3D shaped wire design projects.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Safety

Good price. does the job.

Not much to say. That's solder. He's doing his job. The price was better than other brands so I saved some money which is always a good thing. Yes I would recommend it.

Just right for Electronics

I use this for some electronics work. I wish it came in a bigger spool like it did a few years ago, but at least we can still get the good stuff for now.

Pros
  • Handsfree Kit
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Solder & Flux is best

I haven't soldered much (just a car radio with about 14 wires soldered and a couple of headphone wires), it seems to work with no problems. My solder joints aren't amazing, but I don't blame the solder.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • small things

Look elsewhere for good welding and soldering

Terrible solder. Probably the worst I've ever used in my life. Doesn't flow properly even after I set the iron to 500 degrees plus flux. I just tried soldering 14AWG to a 540 motor, which I've done countless times. It doesn't even flow into the solder wick.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

New to soldering, this wire works great!

A friend recommended this to me and I'm glad I chose it. The solder wire that came with the kit I bought was completely useless, very difficult to work with and sub-par. When I used this wire I couldn't believe how much better it worked. He was a lot easier to work with and I had a lot fewer problems. In general I am very satisfied.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
