I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Tested on A7RIVA - an ideal bunch for street photography (thecompactness of the carcass is harmoniouslycomplemented by thecompactness of the glass. The total weight is 800 grams) Camera JPEG examples Pros below: Lightweight, compact. The flight is focused. The picture is equally good throughout the frame. Holds backlight well. On the body there is a button "everything you need to calmly meet old age" - a focus lock button, an AF / MF switch, an aperture click switch. Some cons: It's not that I

Fast and Accurate Prime Lens

Recently updated camera and lenses on Sony E-mount system. I wanted a decent range of lenses and a good general purpose prime lens for everyday use in portrait and family photography. I have a wide-angle prime and a telephoto zoom for landscape and other photography. This 40mm F2.5 lens helps close the gap. Images from it are very clear, objects are sharply focused. The F2.5 aperture really helps with that. It also keeps moving subjects in focus fairly quickly. I've also used it as a webcam…

A stunning lens when size matters

Build quality: The SEL40F25G lens is objectively well built. The housing is made of aluminum and feels good in the hand. The aperture ring snaps in nicely and the focus ring is buttery smooth. For its size, this is a well-built premium lens. Performance: The SEL40F25G is a very fast lens. The autofocus is fast and very quiet. The bokeh is also nice and creamy. I would like it to be a bit faster, but I understand that some compromises have to be made to make the lens as compact as possible…

Compact lens. Compact packaging

I really wanted this lens, mainly because I chose mirrorless because of the size, among other things. And it goes so well with my a7c. I've had a Samyang 35mm f2.8 for a few months. It's small and compact but maybe too small and for some reason I can't explain I didn't really like the pictures. Maybe just not as much as I had hoped. So I decided to upgrade and of course spent 3x more money for something 0.23x better. Let's be honest for a second. Isn't that what photography usually does…
