    Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

Autofocus non-alternative telephoto lens with a limited price range for Nex. The Rainox DCR attachment performs exceptionally well for use in macro photography. When taking into account the cost, the rating is quite high. Some excerpts from the album titled "Sony SEL 55-210"

It was a reasonable purchase, will order more.

In principle, I am satisfied with the lens - the photos are excellent, because I'm an amateur) The only thing I'm not satisfied with is the AF operation - it's slow. The fact is that some time after the purchase, I found a small dent. Therefore, I will not say for sure - perhaps it should be so, but perhaps not.

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

I've been using it for over 3 years and will continue to use it. Has some pros: Lightweight, comfortable, reliable, inexpensive. I use it for shooting street portraits and objects at a distance of more than 100 meters. The perfect combination of price and quality. With its cons: They are not here. Naturally loves light and clear weather, because. for such money the corresponding luminosity.

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

It's a great lens for taking pictures of distant subjects. Everything you need to get started right out of the box is included. Pictures of people, animals, or flowers work wonderfully. Some drawbacks: I rely on it heavily. It's possible that an expert might spot certain problems. I haven't picked up on that as a rookie.

    Good product, not disappointed.

The standard picture quality in all modes, low cost, and light weight pleased the only cropped telezoom in the E system. It performs as it should for the money—neither more nor less. In the absence of a superior option, a necessary upgrade to 16-50mm has some benefits 1) Excellent sharpness with a one- or two-stop cover at all focal lengths 2) Sonev image with clarity, correctness, and technical precision 3) Stylish construction and materials 4) Good contrast and work in hard backlight 5) The…

A reliable product, quality is acceptable.

In conclusion, a telephoto lens that is totally basic, but well-built, and offers a very excellent value for the money. There are, of course, a much fancier, more costly, high-aperture, and pin-cut variants available under the Sony E brand, but the vast majority of new users won't be able to tell the difference between those and the simple 55-210. With all of its perks. * High-quality and constructive, similar to the majority of Sony lenses. The lens has a pleasant and satisfyingly substantial…

Still relevant in 2022! It's essential to my travels and I use it frequently. In spite of the outgoing trunk, in 3 years of active travel, I haven't accumulated dust or sand in myself. And at this price, losing it isn't terrifying. If you don't have a lot of money but yet want a zoom, go ahead and buy this lens; you won't regret it. has some benefits In terms of quality - more than your money! It is a star by day and will provide you with excellent photos. The OSS stabilizing process is…

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

Not just for photographing faraway objects, but also an intriguing and important lens in the system. It was tried in Sevastopol and is needed as a second lens when traveling. However this is not the case if you require a prompt response. Without a box, I took 7400 pieces of paper. The flight was normal, there was no dust inside or outside, and this price is more than acceptable for him. Pros include: Well-built and enjoyable to work with Lightweight and compact for a focal length. The…

This lens was bought by the corporation from 16-50 and 55F18 as a telephoto lens to close the focal lengths above 50mm on the Sony ILCE-QX1 smartograph. I held it in my hands for six hours. I don't use it very frequently because it makes the QX1 rather bulky, but it has occasionally came in handy when I was unable to get closer. compared it to the Canon EF-S 55-250, Canon EF 70-200 F/4 + x1.4, Tokina 80-400, and Tamron 28-300 VC lenses. I was curious in how they varied optically and in terms…

    Pros
    • Stabilized, portable, affordable, unmatched in its class, and lens hood included.
    Cons
    • Compared to analogs from other systems, it is too large.

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

Everyone should have a TV set - that's a fact. And there aren't many options. Whatever it is, you can take 55-210, because other options will already be 2 times more expensive. And the masthead 70-200 is 10 times more expensive.

    Pros
    • Inexpensive, affordable lens. Stabilization works very well. Stunningly assembled, no backlash, no creaks, the trunk does not fall out. Compact.
    Cons
    • I would call it a compromise - aperture ratio (dark).

It was purchased just a month ago, in order to shoot objects remotely. It copes with its work with a bang, I have no problems with autofocus (Sony a6000 camera), everything is in order in any lighting. In general, the lens can be considered the best zoom under the E mount for the money (purchased sold for 6490r) Pros: - High quality construction - Good picture - Pretty harsh - Compact enough for such a zoom With its cons. - Unless the lens hood is easily scratched, but this is a nitpick and…

    Great lens for the price

Don't worry it's an international version - honestly you won't be able to tell it apart. As long as you take care of it like any other lens and put a UV filter on it, this thing will work just fine and last a while. Of course, you can't expect it to compete with Zeiss or G-Master lenses, but if you're an amateur photographer and want to add another tool to your 16-50mm lens, I'd say it's perfect for you ! Aside from wide apertures (but what can you expect from a telephoto zoom lens?) at this…

    Disappointing Best DSLR Lenses

When I bought my A6000 I got it with the main lens SEL50F18; I never received a single lens from the kit. The sharpness of the SEL50F18 is so high that it more than makes up for its limited versatility. However, when I recently started bird watching in my backyard, I felt the need for a telephoto lens. So I took the SEL55210, believing that even with its frosted glass it would give better results at 210mm than my main 50mm lens. I was wrong. The main lens crop at the same scale is still sharper

    Worth buying the international version

From all the reviews I was expecting a good lens at a great price but I was really blown away by the quality of the images. Of course I wish this lens was faster throughout the zoom range, but at $200 I was willing to accept that limitation. I was able to take some really amazing night shots with it. This is a great addition to the kit lens with the A6000, high quality and light weight. The OSS is extremely comfortable at full zoom and the focus rings are very smooth. I definitely had a little…

    Excellent TV!

I tested this lens on a Sony a7iii (full frame sensor) and although this lens was designed for cropped sensor cameras, it does the job perfectly. Being a telephoto lens, performance is poor in any light other than full light, unless of course you're taking long exposure photos. As another reviewer mentioned, this isn't a Zeiss, but if you're an enthusiast you can't beat this lens for the price. The first two pictures are intended to demonstrate the possibility of zooming the lens, the first…

    Pros
    • Everything is fine!
    Cons
    • Annoying

The lens is sharp enough for my purposes. It's a bit difficult for me to use the thumbnail on my Sony a5000 as this body doesn't have a viewfinder. Just a live view screen. So I end up trying to compose or track a narrow field of view by holding the a5000 away from my face with my head tilted back so I can see through the bottom half of my bifocals. I may need to upgrade the Sony body to the a6000 to really appreciate the lens. Edit: I recently bought a Sony a6000 body and attached this lens…

    Pros
    • Good product for the price
    Cons
    • Very expensive

I have enjoyed using this zoom lens for roller coaster photography. As an entertainment photographer running a media production company, we're on a tight budget. I saw it and thought it was too much to be true. I was very surprised by the quality. I got my lens dirty in some photos and bought a cleaning kit for future use. I don't think this is a professional camera, but it does its job very well. I've used it with the Sony A3000 and others, they all work great. I still think the Sony A3000 is…
