Sony ICFC1PJ Time Projector Clock Radio with Enhanced Speaker (1.57-Inch) Review

problems immediately. Some functions, including setting the projector's clock and light, did not work when first turned on. Similar problems that others have noticed. Why do they make alarm clock installation so difficult? This is our second alarm clock.

I *love* this clock when it works. A month after I got it second hand it broke. I bought a new 6 volt power supply (NOT 5 volts as advertised because 5 volts isn't enough) and brought it back to life. It frequently loses its DST setting, which sometimes causes me to have to disconnect and reconnect. In this case, the alarm can set itself. I think the firmware is buggy. The projector makes it all worthwhile. So readable and so flexible.

This clock replaced the same clock I had which ended up in my grandson's bedroom. I missed it so much that I reordered. I really like not having to set it up every night as it can be programmed to wake me up every day of the week. I also like the dual alarm function. If my schedule changes by a day, I can use the second setting without deleting the default setting. I also like the nature sound feature on the clock radio. I also like the square shape that doesn't take up much space on my bedside

Amazing! I bought it mainly because I wanted the projection feature. The silly thing is that the projection turns off automatically after 16 hours. This is confirmed in the user manual. WHAT?! Essentially, the watch stops showing time after 16 hours. Who was the genius that thought this was a good idea?! I don't care that the watch keeps telling the time on the front display. Projection function function - display time! But some hot shooter at Sony says I only need to see the time for 16 hours.
