The numbers are big enough that I can see in the middle of the night without glasses without blinking. The lighting is dim enough not to be distracting. Pros: Large numbers are easy to read from across the room. I'm nearsighted and don't sleep with glasses on. So if I wake up in the middle of the night I can read the clock across the room as opposed to clocks with a lower number.
