The quality is good, the size is small

I am not a professional photographer. I have not encountered any problems with this lens. The quality is good, the size is small. I will try to use it when traveling.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • High price

A camera and photo masterpiece

Let me tell you, if you love streetscapes or portraits and can only afford a Sony E-mount lens, this is for you. , the lens has fast autofocus, it's sharp and it's so good because of the weight and size, but personally I regret the purchase. For the same price I could get a Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8, which would give me a little more range for architecture and real estate, but since I've had that lens it's stayed installed in my camera.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Excellent lens best in Lenses

I just fell in love with this lens. Excellent image quality, beautiful rendering, 3D pop, smooth gradations, acceptable distortion correction, close-up much appreciated; feels very organic. My favorite lens for the Sony A7III was the Sony/Zeiss 55mm f1.8, which I still love. But now the 24 GM is more camera-bound than the 55mm. Highly recommended. The only downside is the size (considering it's a mirrorless lens). The images are taken directly from the camera. No improvements. Just downgrade

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Incredible lens - sharp, small, light

I was looking for a small solution for landscapes and walks. I've avoided GM zooms for cost and weight reasons, but it's a great balance of features and would make a good 35mm lens for the a7000 if they ever come out with one. (Update) I also did it on my first trip with 16-35 and found that apart from some very wide shots, 24mm is fine for most landscapes I've shot. Even more impressed with this lens after a long time of use. Adjusting the aperture manually takes a bit of getting used to and…

I've been waiting to buy this lens for almost 8 months

It was finally available and I jumped at the opportunity as almost every seller promoting this lens has had it in stock for the last 8 months or so . So glad I did. This lens has everything everyone has been talking about. Really doesn't need a review if you've seen or read reviews on this lens. So far the photos I've taken have turned out amazing. I'm an honest amateur photographer. Do it for fun and as a hobby and I've taken some serious courses so I know enough about using a camera. However,

excellent astro lens

I'm primarily a Canon photographer but after buying and testing many fast and wide angle astro lenses for my Canon body I was left hoping for something better. The best I've found (Tamron 15-30 f/2.8) is a relatively good astro lens with low coma and a wide field of view, but I really wanted something faster. When I saw the first Astro reviews of this Sony 24mm f/1.4 lens I knew I had to try it, so I picked up the A7iii and this lens and have been using it for a few months now. Bottom line, I'm

Expensive but great lens. query?

5/26. exclaimed Revain on 05/24. to: They said they got the lens back. My app still reports this on the go. It may take up to "2 weeks" once they receive the item to refund my payment. 1/3 of this payment was made with Revain Gift Points. I'm really starting to doubt these big purchases from them. Raven called today. First they said they received the lens I sent them a week ago. They show where it was sent to. But it looks like they can't find him a week later. It cost over $1300 but "Revain…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not sure

Disclaimer: Revain.com ran out of stock so I bought the lens from a local seller who had one in stock. After using this lens for a short time, I was amazed at the optical quality and size of this lens. Firstly the compact size is truly a marvel, although the lens is lighter than the competition it still has a fantastic feel of quality and is strong enough to feel balanced on my A7Rii body. I used the Sigma 24 1.4 "Art" and it's definitely a bit heavier and physically larger. Focusing is fast…
