Unlike other headphones I've had lately these have a battery that needs charging and sometimes a single charge lasted over 10 hours . The sound quality is excellent considering the price. When listening, there is almost no noise.

You can't connect to a TV without an HDMI adapter. Audio quality when connected to TiVo was static. The quality of the headphones also seems to have declined. We have an old pair of Sony's that we ordered from Revain and they work great. I was disappointed that they weren't of the same quality.

We like the new ear cushions, smaller headband, charging dock, sound quality and noise cancellation. We bought these after my husband's old Sony headphones broke. We use them to watch TV, and every word comes out clear and understandable (e.g. British shows).

Headphones fit very well. The noise cancellation is excellent. I bought these for my TV, unfortunately the TV's optical port doesn't work. So I connected them to my computer to watch movies and listen to music. They work FANTASTIC! Now I can enjoy without disturbing anyone. The volume control is a bit fiddly, but I managed it. I believe the product I received was a repackaged counterfeit posing as a genuine Sony product. Absolutely terrible signal to noise. Even at maximum input, the humming background hum rendered the true signal unintelligible on all three channels. I can't believe I received a genuine Sony product. Sent back the day I received this junk. In addition, the outer packaging was highly suspicious (picture attached).

I have been buying and wearing headphones for over 15 years. These are the first to deliver a tone (from low to high frequencies) and volume levels that allow me to hear the TV clearly EVEN WITHOUT A HEARING AID. This is the first time. When I received these headphones, the AAA batteries that came with them didn't last more than a minute, even after 24 hours of charging. However, they work with a pair of new, non-rechargeable AAA batteries. After reading the user manual, I learned that the factory supplies rechargeable AAA batteries that power the headphones and are Sony property. They cannot be replaced by conventional batteries.
