Extra small lens for wide angle photography and more

This is a tiny and light pancake lens (even smaller than the 16-50mm kit lens!). Performance on the a5100 (you may need to use aperture priority mode to take advantage of this lens). I also have a Sigma 19mm 2.8 lens and have a feeling I'll be using this lens more often as part of a very compact and lightweight kit. although this lens is quite small (a5100 + Meike MK-35mm f/1.4 APS-C lens or Samyang 35mm f2.8 FE lens). I only wish this lens was cheaper!

I ended up with a great little camera

I have a Sony A6000 with a cropped sensor and two kit lenses (16-50mm and 70-200mm) both capable of collecting in low light . . I ended up with a great little camera, but with a limited field of view, and I needed a higher than acceptable ISO to get the shots I wanted. So I bought a 20mm lens and an ultra wide converter hoping to get rid of some of the unwanted results. I'm very happy and would recommend them if you're experiencing similar frustrations. Happy Snappin!

Great snapshot lens

They say the best camera is the one you have with you so I bought this to make my A7 more portable and turn it into a camera and outdoor camera. The A7 will recognize the lens and use crop mode instead of full frame, giving you a 30mm field of view, which is great for general use. The image quality is not at the level of high art, but quite acceptable for a cheap and portable lens. There's slight distortion and vignetting at times, but Sony has an in-camera lens correction feature that's…

A very good lens. small, sharp, well built, versatile

Wow, this lens is way better than the 16mm (SEL-16F28). I know because I had the 16mm but I sold it after getting this one. The 20mm lens is much sharper, better built and offers a good and versatile field of view. It also includes two adapters sold for 16mm (the wide-angle adapter I had for 16mm turns 20mm into 15mm; and the fisheye, which I don't have yet but am considering buying). In case anyone is interested, I have NEX-6 and A6000. I have most "budget" Sony E-mount lenses: 20mm with…
