I really wanted to like them. They look great for my 5 year old but they are terrible. Velcro straps don't stretch at all, so they barely reach to be attached to the other side. When my kid runs and the velcro comes off (which it always does), the snow gets inside. I've never experienced that with snowshoes, but my poor kid's feet always got wet. We live in northern Michigan and I bought these shoes for my three year old daughter (she will be four soon). They look adorable and will keep you warm when there is some snow on the ground. But they don't work for serious snow! A few days after she returned to nursery after our first big snow (about 6 inches) I had to quickly order another pair of boots.
