I love that this is a backpack and that it converts into a padded box. My first time taking a cat on a hike and it was a real hit. Put a small bed in it to make it more convenient when you don't use it as a backpack.

My 17+ lb Norwegian Forest Cat (female) fits great and makes trips to the vet much easier than someone who doesn't drive. In the wheelchair she shook the cage so hard that it knocked out my shoulder. You don't stand a chance with that. Very sturdy and well made and when it's been in the car for a while it folds open to make room.

This is an excellent quality stretcher and upon unboxing I was very impressed with it and its features. Taking the cat for a walk/or visiting a place where it might be scared at first and try to run away seemed like a great carrier.
