Made cheap. in temperature probes and sensors

Really disappointed in this product. The measurements were fairly accurate, within 1-2 degrees of my fieldpiece clamps, but the clamp broke after only 3 uses. I haven't used it on brass over 5/8" and it broke 9 jaws on the second day. I work as an HVAC service technician so I expect it to work regardless of manufacturer. I stick to more expensive products. for durability.

Pros
  • Spring loaded sponge clamps around heating or cooling pipes
Cons
  • Update Availability

CHEAP PLASTIC! on Temperature Probes and Sensors

You get what you pay for. Broke after 1 week. Fieldpiece or Fluke is the best buy AND from a supplier with a respectable return policy.

Pros
  • Works with any multimeter or clamp meter that accepts a Type K temperature probe
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Doesn't work if you calculate overheating!

This unit was tested on a UEI multimeter along with another cheaper brand and also compared to a Feildpiece HVAC meter temperature clamp and differed by 5 degrees. Doesn't work if you calculate overheating!

Pros
  • Spring loaded jaw clamps around heating or cooling tubes
Cons
  • Very expensive
