No hiking socks.

These socks are nice and comfortable if you want to use them as regular everyday socks. I had to send mine back as they are sold under hiking socks and are not meant for hiking. They are very thin and don't offer enough cushioning for long hikes.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Good socks - good for hiking

Bought these for a new pair of Merrell Moab hiking boots (not medium boots). Ideal. Thick where they should be, in the soles, heels and arch of the foot to the top of the shoe, but thinner on thinner all over to allow my feet to breathe. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Functionality

Great value for the great outdoors

We're big fans of the big companies that make wool hiking socks. Tried them out as a last minute gift and was happy with the price and the pillow. They're thick for summer but perfect for now. Very good value. Bought men's shoes in size 10 and they fit just right - a bit long - but not too much. I will buy again.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Good but not great

Very comfortable, good for men

Socks mainly made of acrylic with some merino wool. They are very comfortable if you are not serious about running. They are thinner than I thought and the ankle elastic feels loose. I don't know how long it will take. They are big and loose which makes them so comfortable. I wear them as slippers around the house. I wouldn't wear them for hiking.

Pros
  • Durable workmanship
Cons
  • Expensive

Excellent value for money and quality.

Socks can be incredibly expensive for what you buy so I spent a lot of time deciding which ones to buy. Also, this isn't a purchase you have to make all the time, so I'm careful about what I buy. This purchase was one of the best hospital purchases I have ever made. Great sock. The size was correct and it came exactly as described. An excellent purchase on my part.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Great winter socks matching socks

I love these socks. There is a second pair, longer. I have two pairs of boots and wear them depending on the boots. They're also great for wearing around the house, keeping your feet nice and warm and toasty but not sweaty. Washed them several times and didn't realize they were gone. Well, I take my words back, my wife keeps making them disappear. Found it in them the other day. I will buy another set, they keep disappearing from the sock drawer.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥

Comfortable, soft, good fit, stretchy, may not last long

These socks smelled like an old army tent, I didn't care but the smell was interesting. Maybe it's because the materials it's made of are fun, they're green. :) Socks fit well, they are comfortable and have proven themselves on hikes, they are comfortable for lounging and in normal everyday clothes. Cons: Not sure if the elastic will last long, seems to have already lost some strength after (3) washes/wears.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great socks! Walk a little more.

In my opinion, the right socks are the key to long hikes. I was looking for an alternative to the overpriced REI hiking socks. They are very close except running a bit big or relaxing too much on long hikes. A snug fit after 10 miles reduces areas of friction and minimizes potential blisters. If these socks stayed cozy all day I would give them 5 stars. I might try ordering the next size smaller than mine to see if that helps.

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Inexpensive but not the best on the market

Four pairs of wool socks for $20 is a great deal to me. I usually wear damn tuff or fancy wool. These socks aren't as good as any of those brands, but without comparing them to them, they're pretty good. They don't have compression like regular hiking socks so I wouldn't recommend them for long distances as they are very good for everyday wear. Not super soft but they are ok. I usually get 3-4 years from some darn tuffs, I wasn't expecting that from them but still a good product for the price…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
