Powerful fans move a lot of air, you need a heavy duty alternator, larger power wire and relay to power these hungry fans.

It is a Spal. It draws a lot of air, draws a lot of current, makes a lot of noise (that's because it's pushing air even with a heatsink in the way. It makes them noisy, but you also get closer to the CFM, as it says on the box than many others) and your car is cool. This is Spal. I bought 2 of these fans to replace the factory radiator fans on my 2005 Honda Civic. With my Mishimoto radiator and OEM fans idling in traffic with the A/C on, the engine would hit about 210 degrees on a 100 degree day. With these fans on my radiator, the highest temperature I've ever seen was 195 degrees while I was stuck in traffic. The air conditioning works a little better when idling.
