Optimized Single Wall Mount Kayak Storage Rack with Safety Strap Review

I bought three of these mounts for my kayaks, the mounts themselves seem fine. However, the supplied screws turned out to be rusty and several screws broke off during the assembly process.

Drilled them into the wall of our house for our kayak. My husband came out to help and found that I easily coped with the task without him! Got them almost 6 months ago and they're still great!

I was a tight curvy and bought these stands for my kayak to hang on the walls. The design of the stand and the quality of the equipment are poor. No matter how many holes I drilled in the wall or rack, these racks popped out. Save money and keep your walls DO NOT BUY

Easily fits our 35 inch wide kayak. I love the straps that came with the ends. 4 stars because the screws need to be a bit longer as there are only two holes on each stand that hold all the weight. The screws barely made it through the stone wall into the rack. I think all the weight is on the masonry and not the rack.

5 stars because it's good for storing kayaks against the garage wall. I ordered three sets and was able to stack them effectively. Straps secure the yaki in place. Additional padding was used to spread the wing down pressure over a larger Yakov area. Comes with the hardware required for installation, although the screws are fairly cheap they do the job of securing the rack to the wall.

This product is reasonably well made and easy to install. The BIGGEST PROBLEM is that when I purchased this item, the website stated that it was a 2-pack, 2-wall storage rack that will store 2 boats against the wall (this has since been fixed, but the discounted price still reflects the cost). from other sources for the actual 2 packs) although it was actually a rack for a boat.
