This might NOT WORK.

The iRobot 960 battery comes with a 1800mah battery. This battery is rated at 5200mah, almost 3x the capacity. HOWEVER, the 960 unit seems to know if a COUNTERFEIT battery is installed as this battery NEVER ATTAINED a full charge, but after a period of time on the charging base issued an error-5, charging error.Removed and verified the contacts were clean; re-installed; verified the charging base and unit contacts were clean; reseated on the base and within 30 minutes. error-5.This battery is…

Dead on arrival.almost.

I bough this battery because of the high reviews it received, and it worked well for about 5 weeks. Then one day it wouldnt charge anymore. I cleaned the contacts on the vacuum, and the charging stand, but it didn't help. I put the original Roomba battery back in, and it charges and runs the vacuum. I will send this back, since I am within the return window. Overall I am very disappointed with the outcome.

Won't charge for my opinion

Won't charge. Causing an error on the Roomba. Ended up ordering ordering replacement directly from irobot since this wouldn't work.

Fits good and works good But.

Bought this one to replace the same battery I had bought just less than a year ago that just up and completely died with no warning and of course it was out of warranty, hope it was just a bad one. Other wise up until it failed I had long run time and good cleaning this is why I said but in the headline. Defective battery? for my opinion

Our Roomba worked before but did not run too long. We purchased this battery and it never worked again. Just recently we borrowed someone else’s third party battery and it work just fine and vacuumed the whole house. We are returning this ASAP. Sorry

Does not work in 960, almost identical to the Melasta which don't work

Does not work in 960, almost identical to the Melasta battery which don't work either. 960 says check battery when put on charger. Just going to suck it up and get a Roomba brand battery. I wasted my time twice so you don't have to.

The new battery was not as good as the original oneafter a week or two use. Needs recharging every20-25 minutes. That's my feedback.

Decent battery, great customer service

The battery worked fine over 1.5 years. A little after that, my Roomba begun stopping randomly with the battery completely discharged. Mistakenly believing that it was only half a year since I bought the battery, I contacted customer service asking for replacement. Customer service rep corrected me, saying that my battery is over 1.5 years old, and. sent me a brand new battery! Considering that the warranty for the battery is 1 year, I really do appreciate the gift. So, here is my opinion…

New Roomba on my review.

The Sparkole 14.4v 5200 mah battery for my roomba 900 series has breathed new life into it. It vacuums 30 minutes longer and appears to have more power. I will have to update the review when I get a better idea of it’s longevity. The original battery lasted two years before there was a noticeable diminution in it’s vacuuming longevity. I have had the new battery approximately three weeks without issue.

My iRobot is having problems at time with this battery

I thought with a higher AH rating the vacuum would clean longer, but it doesn't. About every third cleaning cycle I get a battery warning signal about not having an iRobot battery installed.

It works as advertised, my roomba was not holding charge very well. It’s an easy swap and it works just like new. It’s been 4+ months and no issues so far

It's worked on Robot Roomba 960 perfectly, more than I expected, 2/3 battery remained after 1 hour.Hope is will last longer.

Great Battery.for 90 days

This battery was a god-send. It replaced an OEM battery that had long since lost its ability to hold a charge. The new battery died today -- constant charging error 8 messages -- 90 days after purchase. Buyer beware, these batteries seem to have an issue with longevity. Good luck.

SAVE YOUR MONEY- for my opinion

We ordered this to replace a factory battery for our Roomba 960. Worked for about a week and now won't charge. Reached out to Sparkole and have had no response. Save your money and order from a different manufacturer. Poor customer service and a terrible product.

We have a large downstairs and our roomba always died before it could finish. Our 960 now runs for 2.5 hours plus before needing to charge. Finally, it can finish a job.

Tired of our Roomba 960 taking so long to vacuum. Instead of recharging and rerunning, the Roomba regularly finishes in one cycle. Granted, our Roomba is many years old. Eight months so far and working well.

I bought this battery as a replacement for my Roomba 692. The original battery had an 1800 mAh rating, so I wouldn't be crazy to expect a significantly longer run time on this battery than the original Li-ion battery that came with it. Roomba works way better

Bought this off brand replacement battery. Replaced the original Roomba battery. Roomba works way better than ever with this battery. Only problem is the Roomba will recognize it’s not an original battery sometimes and I have to take the battery out and put it back in so it will charge. Maybe every fifth use. But, it’s still way better than original battery.

If it lasts, It's a winner!

Our previous battery's performance dropped dramatically reducing the run time to about 1/6 over just a few days. I wondered if there was a bigger issue but decided to give it a shot. Dropped in the battery and the run time is back to normal. If this lasts the full (about) 300 cycles then it's a winner.
