Our Trim head design offers pleasing aesthetics across the deck surface. The deep square drive offers excellent bit engagement. Better bit engagement means quicker installation with less effort. Check out our Threads!! Our patented thread technology allows the screw to be driven faster, is easier to install, and reduces splitting in wood. Let SPAX take some of the hassle out of your next project.

I will use that from now on. Maybe not.

I'm an engineer and I'm impressed with the amount of engineering that went into this screw. The serrated thread on the end helps cut the wood instead of breaking it, the smooth portion allows the plank to pull itself toward the joists, and the square shank keeps the blade from popping out like the Phillips heads do on me do. I did a quick test by screwing one of these into stringers I've been working on all day and it blew off the head when screwed in maybe 3/4 the length of the screw. I was working on a set of ladders when they arrived and had drilled and screwed 3 stringers many times that day so I had a pretty good idea of the wood hardness and performance. This has neverโ€ฆ

When I got home and used them it was clear that they were a huge improvement over the cheap props I had used in the past. Two things set them apart: 1. They're made of decent metal that doesn't curl in half. The carving has small sawtooth edges that dig into the wood. Your local lumber yard will stock screws for stainless steel decking. They are so expensive that they are hidden where
