Great little speaker. I wanted to replace my Dell speakers because they are so big on a desktop and there are too many cables around them. This little speaker has a nice sound (certainly not as good as the big ones) and small size. It also comes out with a cable that includes the audio jack cable as well as the USB cable for power. It gets surprisingly loud for a small device!

This is a nice little speaker that works really well with my mum's portable DVD player. She needed something to amplify the sound as she is hard of hearing and this really suited her. The square block has a certain weight, so it is not easy to pull. It also has plenty of volume, although I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for audiophiles. Works well enough for watching movies. Very easy to connect but note that the cables are hardwired and therefore suitable for relatively short distances (4 to 5 feet). The sound quality is about what you would expect from a $10 speaker. Compare it to a decent portable AM/FM radio. Not outstanding, but audible. All in all a good buy considering the price and a good buy if like me you're against Bluetooth. I bought this for my laptop which lacks volume for most videos. This sound is of course good enough without the stereo effect. If all you want is mono sound that's loud enough to be heard, this is an affordable solution. In my opinion, the sound quality is not good enough for music. . Based on the generally very good reviews, I decided to give it a try. When I opened the package and pocketed it, I realized I was disappointed.
