Review on Wired Speaker: Desktop Computer Speakers with USB 🔊 Power, 3.5mm Jack for Laptop, PC, Office - Black by Julia Turner

Based on the generally very good reviews, I decided to give it a try. When I opened the package and pocketed it, I realized I was disappointed. Even with the speaker and computer control volume at maximum, the audio was poor. And at that point, at "full" volume, it would tend to get squeaky/tinny/creaky. I have already returned it to Revain and bought this one instead (Soundbar, USB Powered Maboo Soundbar, Desktop, Laptop Speakers, Black (USB)) and was happier with the result for only a few bucks. I was disappointed because I liked the size - it was very similar to a small Altec Lansing speaker I had for about 10 years that had finally breathed its last. Given the generally very good reviews, I may have just gotten a "lemon" and for $11 it's not much of a risk to try it considering Revain has a fairly generous return policy, but I'd have my original one instinct that came with the MaBoo Soundbar ($10 more.) That would have put me off waiting for it and returning this one.
