Unit is designed to OE fit, form and function requirements accomplished by leveraging our OE fuel system design expertise. Unit is dual coated for enhanced corrosion protection. Fit tested on the very same vehicle application for which it was developed verifying first-hand that the design fits properly and can be easily installed. Unit is leak tested after production to ensure product in free from fuel and / or evaporative leaks. Tested with OE fuel cap to prevent evaporative emission and check engine light failure.

Not for 2004 Maibu Maxx

Not for 2004 Malibu . Bought to replace a broken neck on mine, wasted a whole morning trying to find out it was wrong even after being told it would work. I want my money back

Spectra filler neck

Fixed my problems like check engine light (P0440) and problems with adding gas as the pump would shut off about every 10 seconds. The old filler neck had a crack that disrupted the sealing of the exhaust fumes. I had to cut the bolt holding the filler neck in place because of rust, but I got a new bolt and nut from a local farm. About an hour's work, with moderate craftsmanship, to carefully cut off a rusty screw next to the filler neck. The filler neck was of good quality and was packaged very

Perfect for replacing a rusty and leaking original installing vaporizer system codes.

I bought this unit to fix a leaking plastic insert on a pipe joint which fixes a small evaporator system leak code. The only issue I had was that the gas cap was a little tight on the filler neck, but I saw a burr which I quickly scraped off with a pocket knife and made it much better. Would recommend this item to dealer much more expensive. I didn't have any other mounting tab issues like the other reviewer, but it could be a "quality control" issue.
