Too short.: Fuel tanks and accessories

I had to weld a 4" pipe to the filler neck. This hose is much shorter than the original. Lucky that there is a pipe and a welder. Otherwise it would be a definitive return.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

This hose is about 3 " too short

This hose is not long enough, about 3" shorter than the OEM it was intended to replace. Don't buy this. I need to connect a coupler and an extra spare hose. waste of time and money.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not sure

1986 f150 5.0l 4x4 needs to do a new hose.

1986 F150 Step. had to be cut in half, cut the center out of the original hose, cut into pieces of steel tubing to get it working. This is the only way. I couldn't make a new fuel filler hose without this. It wasn't easy, but it was worth the time.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some bugs

Perfect fit for fuel tanks and accessories

95 F250: It's time for a new fuel tank so I grabbed the Spectra F6C1FA tank and pump assembly. I saw some wear on the inner stuffing tube so I replaced the neck and hose as well. Easy replacement and perfect fit. Spectra will be my regular supplier of tanks and pumps from here. Makes it easier when it works.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Wrong part in fuel system

This part will not fit the center (or front) fuel tank of full size 80-86 Ford trucks. I bought it and it's about 3-1/2 inches shorter. After the purchase I noticed some complaints in the comments, then why is AMAZON still pointing out that this is the correct part for my 82 F250? I had to reset the old one.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Reliability

doesn't suit me truck best in spare parts

I usually read reviews and do research. Apparently not. Yes, too short (insert joke here). It seems next-gen fit, see the dud review from the 90's stating it's fit. So if you have '80-86' don't buy that. Looks like a high quality Wubba and came with clips. But yes, it's too short. Fixed rear tank filler neck issue as it is not used and will soon break down for cleaning. I think at some point I'll look around for a different filler neck in the back. Yay! But man, great end to the day.

Pros
  • stylish and modern design
Cons
  • not bad
