Lock ring included with each tank to reduce installation time and to ensure a complete repair. Made with corrosion resistant, OE approved, Ni Terne steel for durability. Unit is leak tested after production to ensure product in free from fuel and / or evaporative leaks. Each new fuel tank is road tested to ensure real world performance and to verify that each design meets our high standards for quality.

Total Garbage Fuel System Component

Automotive enthusiasts, beware! According to my experience the Spectra Premium fuel system component is a joke. I installed this part in my performance car and it failed after just a few months. the worst part is that it caused major damage to my engine, resulting in costly repairs. The only positive point is that it was easy to install. Do yourself a favor and avoid this product at all costs..

The build quality of the tank was excellent and I'm sure it will last a long time.

Fits our 1966 Impala almost perfectly; we had to use a block of wood and a hammer in a few tight spots; If you placed the Spectra tank next to the original tank (which had a small hole and some rust and needed to be replaced) you could see that the original tank was more of a crack at the edges where the straps wrapped around the Spectra tank "Rinne" was slightly arched; the tank was quickly adapted to the technical specifications with block and hammer, and then it stood immediately; The build…
