oil pan of excellent quality. Don't forget to paint it before installing as I think it's just a primer like any other oil pan.

Looks like a factory genuine part but has one problem: the factory drain plug doesn't fit. It has an odd Canadian thread pattern in case you're looking for a magnetic drain plug to replace the one that comes with it. And as a certified technician, you always use a high-quality rubber oil pan gasket.

Perfect for my 2001 Express Van with 5.7 engine. It was identical to the original except for the smaller drain plug and the first bolt I tried was actually done correctly. The baffle is exactly the same as the original, and the shape is precise, so the one-piece gasket seals perfectly when dry installed. EXCELLENT value, excellent quality.

This pan was heavier than the OEM I removed, the stamping was correct and the baffle is low as it should be. pan so it is glued to the pan and you have to use a crusher to remove it. The drain plug also seems to have a smaller diameter hole than the OEM, but I'll check once the magnetic drain plug arrives.

This is a poorly made drain pan with poor quality control. First, the rear sealing area was uneven and deformed, making an airtight seal nearly impossible. Next up was the oil drain plug. They painted (or electroplated) the entire bolt and it didn't even come out of the percussion gun. Finally, the metal is thinner than the original pan, making it a bit flimsy. It may be cheap but you get what you pay for and that is poor quality.
