Great Automotive Oxygen Sensor

This oxygen sensor gave my car an instant boost in performance. After I put it to the test, driving in various conditions, it held up and provided accurate readings. The installation was hassle-free and the price point was reasonable. However, I did find the instructions to be a bit unclear. Overall, this is a great replacement part for anyone in need of a reliable automotive sensor.

Pros
  • Accurate and reliable readings to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
Cons
  • Pricier than some other oxygen sensors on the market.

Does not work when warm!

I bought this to replace a broken cheap crankshaft position sensor that didn't work after the engine warmed up or I drove it a few miles on the road. It acted like it ran out of gas and would turn off and on again. Then after a few minutes it starts up again, works for a while, is naughty and then shuts off again. Same thing happens if you leave it idle for a while. This one does the same thing out of the box. I will try NAPA CPS.

Pros
  • Oxygen
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Jeep YJ fixed misfires and revitalized

My '92 Jeep Wrangler (YJ) 4.0 spattered and backfired. I thought it had something to do with the gearshift or, god forbid, my manual transmission had failed me. Read all the forums for advice and went through my own to-do checklist. I changed the TPS (throttle position sensor), replaced the MAP sensor and cleaned the IAC (intake air control) valve. No improvement. I'm not the type to just throw parts in a car to diagnose a problem. However, I have 277xxx miles on it and have yet to refresh…
