Wrong size fits fuel tanks and accessories

straps do not match the size of the tank sent. The tank was correct and fitted perfectly but we ended up having to use old straps from the original tank which we replaced.

  • Enjoyable

I would recommend painting them before installing

One of my belts on my 96 F150 has completely rusted through. I went ahead and replaced both straps. I would recommend painting them over before installing. They come bare metal.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons

Bolt holes too small

The tape quality is good. The notched end of the front strap did not properly engage the truck frame. The holes at the other end of both straps were 3/8" but the original mounting bolts on the truck were slightly larger, probably 10mm. I was only able to use the new strap as a back brace, I used the old strap in the front,

Cons

Wear the straps properly

I've seen a few reviews that say some straps are too long and some are too short, they aren't, but it's an optical illusion that a short strap around circumambulates a thin part of the body. Tank. In truth, the longest strap goes around the thin part of the tank towards the rear of the car. A short band goes around the thick part of the tank at the front of the car and then they work properly. This confusion is a clear sign that people don't need more cannabis, they most likely need less.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Nothing here

The mounting holes are the wrong size WARNING!

Straps made in Mexico have the wrong size holes to attach to the factory bolts under my frame (can't get the bolts out or not enough room) Original holes (for Ford straps) 27/64"from the factory and you came with less than 3/8" for the bolt, when the tank was held up the bolt wouldn't go through the belt to tighten the nut. It sucks when you're trying to hold the tank up to line everything up and you have to lower everything down and back out to make it fit. I hope Spectra sees this and gets…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very Expensive
