Fur, fits better than paying for OEM

Cheap zinc plated straps not long enough for a perfect fit, you will need shims or some type of shim to make up the length about 3/8 inch too short .

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • unreliable

Raw metal needs protection

Vulnerable bare metal with no finish. The shock straps were covered in plastic except for the ends where they attach. Those open ends of the shock straps are rusty, which brings me here. You will get an image. You have to allocate time and materials to paint or coat them, they are not ready to hit easy.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Cheap alternative best in fuel tanks

Those who accuse them of not having a coating do not consider the value, they are significantly cheaper than OEM. I only need one for now and I'll keep the other one just in case. As far as possibly not fitting, you actually have to lift the gas tank when installing the belt and the bolt barely fits. It is said to be very close to the suburb of 2004 LT.

Pros
  • Long lasting paintwork
Cons
  • Damaged

A strap was so far away

I didn't want to write a review but I want you to hear my problem. I have a 2004 Avalanche Z71 and these straps should fit. The front strap easily fits the new screw. The rear strap was the wrong shape and I had to tighten it as tight as I could with a 2x4, but it was a few inches apart and the bolt had to be 4 inches too long. I had to buy a 3/8 threaded rod with the same threads as the nut. I had no choice but to find a solution because I needed a truck. Too bad I had to buy it locally. I…

Pros
  • Great product

  • Something different

Uncoated but works well

Didn't have time to take photos, I was too busy fixing my truck (2008 Chevy Avalanche). The straps appear to be short, they aren't, they just need some extra motivation. I did this work myself without dropping the tank. My rear strap was rusty and broken and needed replacing. New belts arrived uncoated, I quickly cleaned them and got to work. DO NOT USE PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS! The speed nut has a very thin mount on the stock and replacement kit when you buy them, time and rust will make this…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great price
