As I said I painted mine and used a rocker pad prior to installation to further isolate the strap between my tank. At first I thought it wasn't. correct strap. Once paired with the tank, it fits perfectly. Haven't installed the front strap yet.

2003 Dodge Ram 4-Door 2wd Short Platform 26 Gallon Tank Perfect fit and easy installation. Looks like a quality product. Note: You will need an OPTIONAL 15mm deep socket. I tried a regular 15mm deep hole but the bolt was still sticking out of the square. Good thing my corner auto parts store had one. Buy one in advance and you don't have to quit your job and run to the store like me.

Straps are fine but the front strap was 5 inches shorter. I needed a tail that would fit perfectly. When removing the front strap I bent it and now I had to put the bent strap back on because the new one was too short. I can't return them because I need the back, so now I have to find the right size and order 2 more straps, although I only need the front, which wasn't a problem initially. The order said it would fit my truck make and model but it didn't.
