May require some modifications.

Bought this item on a 2007 Tacoma. The hood could not be closed because the dust cover was too high. Luckily I have a coffee grinder so I cut 2 inches off the top and pressed it firmly against the bug. Overall good product.

You need to mod for Tacoma

What a hope they fixed the airbox problem but they didn't. I had to buy a metal cutter wheel AND cut 3 inches from the top, so I didn't damage my Tacoma's hood, although I will tell you if you step on it. The difference is noticeable. acceleration

Otherwise a great kit. No need to trip over the hood.

The kit requires removing the rubber gasket from the inlet filter, but if you are using a k&n filter without a removable cartridge you will need to buy a new filter and disassemble it. Otherwise a great kit. The hood does not have to be removed to fit under the hood of my 2006 Tacoma 4x4.

Works in 2003-2008 4 runners but with some wagons.

I have a 2004 4 runner and yes I installed it but it took me about 2 hours to install. I had to cut about 2 1/2 - 3 inches from the heat shield to close the hood and I didn't see anyone else mention it, but I had to cut out a larger area to allow my hood damper to work when closed. After all is said and done, everything works great! Sounds good and looks good despite all the problems I've had. The owner's manual says it will fit the 2003-2008 4 Runner. That is partly true, but partly wrong…

Not worth €160, but still does what it's supposed to do.

I was so excited when I received my order the other day but when I went to install it it was a huge disappointment. After 3 hours of painstaking work and bloody hands, it turned out that the hat didn't fit. And the clamp that holds the filter to the inlet is too small. It doesn't wrap all the way around the house to fit the bolt into the nut. And after I close the hood, the heat shield sits so high that it kind of broke the hood latch. And since this is my only vehicle, this sets me back a lot…
