Polaris Belt Lock

Bought this tube to troubleshoot a new Polaris ATV. Adds an extension to prevent water/dirt from entering the belt box due to tire slippage. Just use a 3-2 inch coupler, add hoses and move the hole to the center of the back area. A couple of zip ties ready in 5 minutes should help fix the problem for the mud guys. and wanted to use) plus a lighter material.

Great replacement for the Chevy HHR furry worm!

Great for my 2.4L HHR. All you have to do is remove the wool from the previous tube and use the ends you have. Use one of the included couplers to connect the end that goes to the side (wheel arch) and the other angled end simply screws directly onto the other side of the hose. Very easy. I used some auto silicone to seal the end (wheel arch) to the sleeve just to provide extra rigidity. Very easy. Works perfectly! Great fit. No difference in noise.

Durable and has withstood the heat.

I have an '84 Corvette Hot Rod where I removed the A/C evaporator and fan from the engine bay. I made some sheet metal to cover the fan vent and evaporator vent and used this duct hose along with the 3" duct flanges that Specter also sells to hold the heatsink core in place and keep the heat dissipation going. I don't have a fan anymore but for recirculation but I can emit heat when the car is moving and it works great! The air duct is about 1.5-2 inches from the head pipe. I was afraid it…

Ideal for Chevy HHR

Great replacement for 2006 Chevy HHR air duct. My HHR duct was basically torn and an OEM replacement is pretty expensive for such a simple part so when I saw this reasonably priced basic duct I looked for alternatives. I ordered it, installed it in minutes and drove 4 hours through the mountains the next day with the AC on and this air duct held up perfectly. It stays in place and shows no signs of heat damage. If you look at the picture you can clearly see one of the end caps. There are two of

Specter Performance 8741 Black 3 " inlet hose perfect for cold air intake

Last winter I went to ASE to overhaul my 2.3 liter engine for my 1986 Ranger. 3 months later all the rings were broken, I did it again and polished the air intake and head, added some nice additions. With 200 pounds of crank pressure, I wanted the little beast to "breathe!" air intake and it does its job very well, helping with my 30+ mpg and 120 hp. (11 to 1 CR) - all parts needed are clamps. I live 90 miles out of town and enjoy driving this little beast into town once a month for my…

Hoses leaking

I bought this inlet hose to fit a snorkel to a land vehicle. I plan to cross a lot of deep fords on my next trip so it's very important that the connections are waterproof. The boots at the ends of the pics didn't seem very good, but according to the reviews, they seemed tight and sealed with silicone. This was not the case, they are very loose fitting and I'm sure that once sealed with silicone or even tape the vibrations of the frying process will certainly cause them to leak or worse all…

A good product. Poor packaging and kinked clutch.

Used to replace the air hose on a 1995 Mercedes C230. Glad he's strong. It does its job, but a lot harder than it should have been. The bad news is that the hose connectors are made of very hard rubber that isn't very flexible and one end is very poorly packaged. It's rolled up and tucked into the tube, so when you open the packaging there's a very, very bad bend on a coupler that won't come out under normal circumstances. Therefore, our packaging is not round and does not fit on the supplied…

Great replacement for the MB W212 M157 air intake pipes

If you have a W212 E-Class with an M157 engine, you must have looked in disbelief at the fact that MB put wafer-thin fabric pipes under the hood, which are now torn in many places thanks to a simple attempt to pull out the oil filter. Well I am pleased to report that this plastic tube and fittings are perfect for OEM plastic fittings and a great replacement. Not only is it a fraction of the price of an OEM replacement that will likely break in a few years or so, but it also looks 1,000 times…
