🔧 Spectre Performance 4232: Enhancing Small Block Ford with Chrome Water Neck Review

I ordered this to replace my old one because the chrome was starting to get holes. This part didn't even look as good as my old hole. The chrome was dented in a few visible places and not even polished. I don't know what it's made of either, but it weighs about half the weight of my old aluminum one.

The old engines had rusty thermostat housing screws like mine. The fact that this case comes with screws was a huge plus! Good quality, works as it should.

Disappointed. cheap metal. Very thin compared to other brands. The chrome finish is uneven and not very bright. I was in dire need of a water cap to keep the machine running so I left it but will switch to another brand later.

I bought a new case to replace the old one that has lost its luster. This new version of the Specter thermostat housing is pure junk. Lighter, poor workmanship and the supplied screws do not go through the holes provided. I suggest you look elsewhere. In my case, I bought a die-cast aluminum case that I will polish myself.

Total crap. I bought this because I couldn't find an o-ring for the old ghost case so I decided to replace it entirely. New junk, half the weight of the old one, flimsy material and overall cheap looking. I had no faith in this product and reused my old Specter case. I'm not going to use that cheap piece of crap, but I used an O-ring.
