This is a great calligraphy kit. It was my fault that the pen turned out much thinner than I wanted. This does not spoil the beautiful golden color of the ink.

I received an open item, the ink was already opened, not sealed, because it cannot even be exchanged or returned. The poor quality also gives the impression that cheap gold is not gold, but more of a yellow-orange.

I love playing with this set, the gold ink is just beautiful. A pen and gold ink from a 5 year old gift box a few months ago to be honest. I liked it so much, and the gold ink kind of got into an accident, so I wanted another one. I ordered more and enjoyed playing with different ink colors. Have fun.

Great set for calligraphy. The dip pen has a gold-plated tip that is ideal for acidic inks such as iron gall ink and black walnut ink (gold coating prevents the pen from tarnishing). This is a calligraphy pen that you constantly dip into the inkwell to write with. For those of you looking for a pen I can say that at this price point you are very happy to write.
