After wearing about 15-20 times during aqua aerobics, velcro no longer sticks. The soft side of unbranded velcro is soft and not as tight as branded velcro. The gloves come loose at the wrist, meaning they're limp and useless if you want waterproofing during a workout. I plan to contact the seller about the return. I have two previous pairs of these, both medium sized. They're sewn differently and there's so much room and extra fabric in the palm of your hand that they're carried like a balloon. Like many others who have reviewed these gloves, please consider the size when purchasing. I bought the large size because I use large gardening gloves, I need this size for swimming. Not correct. All my swimwear is Speedos and I am happy with them and other Speedo products. However, the Velcro on these Speedo gloves did not hold these gloves on my hands well. My swim laps were constantly interrupted to retrieve a lost glove or to adjust and reattach the velcro. I gave up after four tries and eventually got her to stick with just the rubber bands. Fit/Sizing: I see 4 potential issues when trying to get the right size for these gloves. How wide is your palm (most important). How thick your wrist is (somewhat important).
