Sperry Men's Surveyor 2-Eye Boat Shoes Review

Great fit, very comfortable. Always a great price for shoes for heavy work in water, mud or slush. Never had a problem with them. I walk three miles every day and just wear out the soles.

Very comfortable and high quality Sperry shoes. I've never had a shoe as comfortable as the Surveyor 2 Eye Sonora and the Revain is great for the price!

I have bought and worn many Sperry Topiders over the years. Every pair is the same size and always the same comfortable and secure fit. Sperry has to have strict quality control because these shoes are very well made and equal to the quality of the product made in China.

They are very comfortable and stretch just right for me. I bought a second pair. I wear them every day and work on concrete.

Like modifications to the same model I bought a few years ago. There is a padded insert at the back of the upper ankle. Was used to rub up and down until you broke them and got used to them. Slightly lighter than shown in the picture. All in all a great purchase.

The shoes seemed to trade softness (some say comfort) for durability. It wasn't what I had in mind so they were sent back. The seller quickly refunded the money and the shoes arrived well packaged and undamaged.

The shoes have mesh and leather. I've been wearing it for less than 6 hours and it has come loose where the mesh meets the skin. All I did was go to the office and sit in a chair. Very disappointing.

I've only been wearing them for about three weeks and have noticed that the sole is already separating from the fabric part of the shoe. I always go to Sperrys for the quality that comes with the brand, but I think this time I was just unlucky.

Sperry shoes fit perfectly. The color was as expected. I've been ordering Sperry shoes for many years - lately I've noticed (IMO) that the quality of the leather on the upper and sidewalls isn't as soft and supple as it has been in years past. Are you using a different leather quality/type now? I will probably continue to buy Sperry shoes, but I will not buy them online to inspect the leather in person before buying.

These shoes do not have the advertised 360° lacing system. Please see the attached photo of the shoe I received and the promotional photo showing the '360 lacing system'. False advertising!
