Clean lines! for milling accessories

I used this tool to break edges on surfaces and cut letters and patterns. So far it has worked very well! Love the clean lines so far without any issues!

Pros
  • cutting tools
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Failed to engrave aluminum well

Tried to engrave letters on a CNC machine on a 6061 and it didn't work at all. I didn't make chips, I just smeared the stuff around. It arrived quickly and looked well made, but there was no cutting edge on the tip.

Pros
  • End Mill
Cons
  • Tape

The racket broke after 2 minutes.

Okay I put this bit in my router, the tip broke off within 2 minutes, messed up my carving on a good chunk of walnut. Maybe it was just a bad beat. On my first try, chances are I never had a problem with the white beats I normally run.

Pros
  • Chamfer
Cons
  • I'll write later

SpeTool seems to be successful.

I found the cutter to be quite sharp but when used on my CNC router it was quite dull. Not only did it not drink properly - in pine and MDF - I screwed up a few projects before realizing how poorly it worked.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

Harder materials can cause instant tool failure

I bought two of these end mills and both tools failed at the cutting edge shortly after contact with the material. I was attempting to engrave 303 stainless steel at a very conservative feed and speed at a depth of cut of .010 and again .005 after the first tool failed. In both cases I used coolant. I suspect inferior carbide. The tool works well as a beveling tool in materials such as cold rolled materials, but on harder materials it does not have enough power to make simple engravings.

Pros
  • Milling Accessory
Cons
  • Expensive
