Opener rusts after a few weeks!

At first I thought this was the best can opener I've ever owned. However, as can be seen in the photo, it rusts after just a few weeks! It is rinsed but then dried before being placed in the box. This should be a health consideration when choosing materials for an item that may come into contact with food. It is very unsafe and wrong to charge so much for a poor quality product! I wouldn't buy this again.

Hardly ever a clean cut

I was glad to get the Spider Grip can opener but soon found that it almost never cuts all the way around the can. It worked correctly twice out of 20+ attempts, so the error rate is over 90%. There's almost always a thin piece of metal connecting the lid to the can that can't be cut off, right where you first started cutting. So I have to break off the lid, leaving a sharp point on the jar and risking injury in the process. I threw away the opener so I can't go back but wanted to warn the…

opens cans, no sharp edges

My old can opener has seen better days, it has ripped more cans than it has cut so it's time to replace it. What I want from any product is that it works. This opener is easy to use, very smooth operation. My hands don't work well, but this knife works so easily that even I find it easy to use. It has no sharp edges so removing the covers is no longer dangerous and the magnet allows you to cut the cover off completely and remove it easily. I don't open many cans, but my hands struggle with even

They had a job in the manual

Not very impressed with this can opener. I wanted a can opener with a magnetic lid closure, so I tried this one. More often than not, this opener has trouble just poking through the side of the lid to even get started. Frustrated having to try multiple times. The magnet is on the bottom and will not "automatically" lift the lid, you need to remove the opener and then press the magnet against the lid to hook it. Often he didn't even lift the lid himself. Also, the sprockets on one side of the…

Not only is it better with a magnet, it's also cheaper

I was surprised to find this at the bottom of the search results page because it was the only item that cost around $10 where the other options with tens of thousands of reviews *all* cost at least $15. To an extent, a can opener is a can opener - it's actually hard to go wrong (well, that's not true - can openers are DEFINITELY not all the same, but I mean it's not very easy to tell if you are the one Revain is cheaply made and falls apart, or it has a misaligned blade, or a clumsy handle or…
