Splice Coupler Connector Fitting Adapter Replacement Parts for Fuel System Review

Not installed yet but I like it. I replaced my old one with another plastic wand that is brand new but will replace it when I have time.

Used this to replace a catastrophically torn plastic version on my 2008 Infiniti G35X (passenger side connection between firewall and engine). It was easy to install. I used the original hoses and clamps and after a few weeks everything is fine. Great item at a great price!

After working with plastic connectors that failed in less than a year I replaced all the plastic connectors for heater hoses with this metal product. The doso cost was 5x the cost of the plastic couplers, but doing the plastic break with this metal coupler actually fixed the return issues.

Excellent surface finish The edges of the serrations are quite sharp and should provide an excellent grip. Used on my G37 heater hose fitting to replace a z1motorsport exhaust valve that is not stopping the leak. The coupling fits perfectly without squeezing the hose too much. Very happy and reassured to know this is not a standard plastic part that he replaced.

Why aren't these things always available in every car parts store, I don't understand? I had to fix the hose, and thin plastic hoses are too risky to fix a heater hose (I know one of them broke!). This thing is solid and allowed me to use the machine while waiting for the new hoses to arrive. It's now in my tool box, ready for the next emergency repair.

The G37 comes with a plastic hose connector that connects two hoses on the rear passenger side of the engine. I think this is to simplify manufacturing and assembly. This plastic ages and breaks, it has happened to me. 11 years and 155,000 miles so can't really complain but it has put me in a bind. This replaces the plastic connection with a metal element and ensures safety.
