I only did half my hair so you can easily compare. I've had a lot of split ends and I can say with confidence that 99% are gone. I love this trimmer! I have to say that I have little trouble getting it to work at first. The case was a little loose so I had to rotate it about 6 times during the whole process.

Not for thick curly hair 4c/4b. I blow dried my hair to straighten it, but I had to section it into the thinnest sections, 1/4-1/2 inch wide. It lasted hours (more than a few days to give me a break) and it was still stuck to my hair. Absolutely not worth the time or money. Still have split ends
