My company uses iPhones and iPads commercially and we needed a PoE solution. We ended up testing both PoE Texas devices and the Belkin solution. These PoE Texas devices worked great. Because of the lengthwise orientation of the wires, a straight line from the Poe port to the splitter case, to the separate DC and Ethernet network at the other end, it's difficult to find an electrical box that can easily accommodate the device , even if with a 2-way switch box. I will most likely be using a low voltage open case box and will need to construct some sort of retaining wire to prevent the device from hanging on the POE cable and falling off the wall.
