Great inexpensive bit

I have purchased other bits from this company and have been satisfied. I bought this for the router sled. The beat itself works great. My main issue was user error and the rails were moving too much which resulted in me cutting out more wood than I planned. Guilty. These beats are great and I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • πŸ”§ Universal 1/4 inch shank fits all standard milling or CNC machines
Cons
  • Repair

great for my endeavors

I used this well made 5/8 inch radius door hinge groove cutter when I had the job of replacing it over 20 doors (different in appearance than existing ones) in existing door jambs in residential buildings. The customer was happy with the doors and I was happy with the performance of the 1 1/4" router bit. I made a door edge jig which made it easy to perfectly duplicate the desired size and depth of the mortise locks.

Pros
  • πŸ”§ KOWOOD PRO Carbide will help this cutter with heavy use and long term use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great Chipboard Cutter for CNC Router

I bought this chipboard cutter to cut chipboard on my CNC router. The chisel has proven itself very well, especially for the price. I usually buy big brands as most of the time you get what you pay for, but I took a chance and was really surprised at how well he did his job. Other than that, I would buy this feminine again.

Pros
  • πŸ”§ Universal 1/4" shank fits any standard router or CNC router
Cons
  • Big and bulky

great for my work

I used this well made cutter to cut 5/8" interior door hinges when I needed to replace over 20 doors (which look different than the existing ones) in existing homes. The customer was happy with the doors and I was happy with the 1 1/4" bit. I made a door edge gauge which made it easy to perfectly duplicate the desired size and depth of the mortise locks.

Pros
  • πŸ”§ Universal woodworking tool. This cutter is not only for leveling, sanding or leveling the surface of wooden plank spoonboard, but also for trimming, cutting grooves or grooves. Great replacement tool for woodworkers
Cons
  • Small items

Faded on first use. not sure how big it is.

I am not sure what is wrong. but i had a bad experience with what i got. my milling cutter dulled immediately the first time it was used on my cnc with only a 0.05 depth of cut. maybe i got a bad one? I only cut oak at slow speeds with no rattling. It ended up with noticeably dull edges after only cleaning a 5" x 12" area at low speed. The chip size seemed good but the edges after that make me worry this bit is done, or almost so after one use. It seems disappointing for $20.

Pros
  • πŸ”§ KOWOOD PRO Carbide does not reliably support this bit under heavy use and long term use
