Women's Climbing Shoe by La Sportiva Review

I really like these shoes! They're a little higher at the back of the heel than I'd like, but not so much that it's terribly uncomfortable. I'm women's size 8, 9 in sneakers and 39 fits perfectly. The stickiness of the sole is pretty decent, especially compared to some others I've tried. I also like the loops - they make it a lot easier to put the shoes on.

Strong, sturdy, good support, fairly light, good lacing. More durable than a trail runner and much lighter than a hiking boot, making it the perfect bank for trail runners or rougher terrain. I didn't take Gore Tex - much cooler. I took blue, much cooler than black. Used on the Colorado Trail 485 miles. Liked the shoes. One of my favorite devices. Worn them and bought another pair.

I tried seven different climbing shoes before I found these. I had to downsize from 8.5 to 7.5 but they are perfect for my narrow feet with long toes. I'm a beginner in climbing, I mainly do outdoor sport routes. I've found all climbing shoes to be tight and uncomfortable, but these are the most forgiving I've ever worn while being very practical.
