Great Smart Trainer

I am very happy with the Sportneer Smart Trainer, I have used it with the Trainer Road app. I tried using it with Rouvy but it's not in the list of trainers, I can use it with Bluetooth or Ant+, it's a bit fiddly to put on and take off, but for the price I'm very happy with it. Plus 6 months free app for one circuit workouts.

Affordable exercise bike

This is an exercise bike that allows you to ride your bike with the rear wheel mounted. It comes with sensors that allow you to pair it with various virtual bike software for your training. The included instructions are not very clear and it took me a while to look at the pictures to figure out how to put everything together. Once assembled, it worked well and was fun to use. Although loud. I don't know if that's normal with exercise bikes or just that. It costs less than other brands, so it's…

Quality components, quick pairing

The added interactivity of having a smart bike rather than a passive one is important for those above the amateur level. I bike several times a week and ride about 30 miles each time and this trainer is almost exactly the same as the real life experience. When paired with OneLap or Zwift, it's responsive and offers reasonable resistance depending on what those apps present to the rider. Noise is never a nuisance. Depending on speed, it ranges from a hum to an acceptable howl. My bike held…

Great exercise bike with lots of bells and whistles

This exercise bike has many features that set it apart from a regular weight machine. I have been using the trainer for many years. Just a simple weighted flywheel where you adjust tire pressure to simulate drag (like hills). The only great feature of this trainer is the ability to connect to apps that will adjust that resistance for you based on the virtual terrain. Do you want to climb the hills today? Very easy. I wouldn't rate terrain resistance as 100% accurate. It's harder to climb a real

Good exercise bike but more efficient with 3rd party apps

Good - Easy to assemble - Can be folded for easy storage - Can be used with different size tires and wheels - Compatible with 3rd party bike training apps Poor. No native drag control app. Let me start on the bad side first. I contacted Sportneer support to find out how to control the resistance of the bike trainer as it is 'smart' and connects to my phone and uses electromagnetism to control the resistance. Your answer was not a third party. app, pedaling faster or slower increases the…

Great value for money for a smart trainer

I was surprised at how much more I like Zwift when the smart trainer adjusts resistance to match the virtual terrain. And I've never ridden with a power meter, and now I see how valuable that meter can be for training. I have no idea how accurate the power meter is and the change in resistance is a bit less than what I expected based on actual experience on steep slopes. It was slightly quieter in operation than my CycleOps fluid trainer and the ride was just as smooth. The trainer is heavy and
