Ice skate straps work great

I have a 19 year old son with Down Syndrome who has trouble tying his shoelaces. Option B straps allow him to put on his skates without assistance. At first he just needed help learning how to pull them tight enough. Once he understood that, he became independent. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Team sports
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good idea, poor quality

I had high hopes for this product. I was looking for something that would make it easier for my son to put on skates. This design seemed to offer a solution. However, the quality is bad. The velcro doesn't hold up well and has come loose from the strap. Completely disappointed. I think we just ran out of money. I want someone to take this idea and make a quality product.

Pros
  • Skate accessories
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Good, but not the best alternative.

I bought these for my son's skates as he is not strong enough to lace them up tight. I found the bottom strap just right, the middle strap questionable, and the top strap too short. I use the older size for his junior skates because the juniors were too short. They also require a decent amount of strength (more than his) to "pull on" the skates. But they hold up well.

Pros
  • Athletic
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

The fastest hockey suit. Tights skates of all time.

These are great for quickly putting on skates and keeping a tight fit without loosening. I have a big move so I added 2 more to each skate for tighter healing. I didn't think 3 of each would be enough. I bought an extra set and put 5 pieces on each skate. They are easy to put on but I suggest using pliers with needles to hold the base while you tighten the screws otherwise they will twist. I've ridden it 3 times and so far the screws have never come loose. This was an issue I heard about fromโ€ฆ
