Looks great weight and quality but unfortunately the wheel hardly rolls. It's on a pretty slick surface, but we end up having to lift the gate most of the way up and up, which completely defeats the purpose of spinning the wheel. Especially since I already have back problems and operations. We'll have to order a new one soon as this one just doesn't work.

Seemed to be a very solid, well built wheel until I hung it on the gate. The gravel ripped chunks out of the wheel every time we opened and closed it during testing. The spring wasn't strong enough to support the weight of the gate, especially on the gravel portion of the driveway. However, if you install on a specific drive, I think it works much better than mine. It's in the trash

This is a replacement for plastic wheels that we installed just over a year ago and which began to fail a few months after installation. We bought these wheels as a spare and after a week we can safely say they are GREAT! We have a dual 6-foot log driveway for privacy, spans of 10 feet each, and new 6-inch hard rubber wheels glide effortlessly over our concrete without hitting or rattling. Everyone. We are very impressed and they are worth it, we bought two. They are very well made and designed
