HOLDS LID OPEN -- These hinges will hold your lid open until you push it down. Never worry again about having to prop the lid open. STRONG ENOUGH -- Douper 200N heavy duty gas struts can support maximum 30lbs lid and lower gently; Weight support will be doubled with 2 hinges (60lbs/ 2pcs). 75°-105° OPEN ANGLE -- Each lid hinge can be used for right or left hand mounting, keep the hinge installed for 75°-105° adjustable opening angles, depending on actual situation. Note: NO adjustments on placement measurements of the hinge mounted on side board. WARM TIPS -- Douper hinges will not applicable with the lid at width more than 50” and height over 25”. And must with a 9 inch clearance. Hinges will not work if your lid doesn’t match specified dimension and weight requirement

Gas spring lid support hinges worked great on my chest project. Now I feel the breast is finally safe, especially for children. For potential buyers there are a few things I would like to point out to improve your experience: ① At first glance it seems like you have 2 left or 2 right, but what you need to do is remove the screw disc, turn it over, and then reattach it. Works great but instructions could be better. Prevents baby's fingers from slamming the breast lid!

I mounted my son on a large chest so the lid doesn't flap with his fingers. The instructions and installation dimensions weren't the easiest, but the hinges are solid and work great. Sizes are given in tenths of an inch, not fractions. So if you don't have a scale, you'll need to approximate the measurements on a tape measure. After finding the right positioning, installation is pretty easy. Now the chances of the lid slamming shut are zero. These hinges took my Hope chest panel/pad project to…
