Finally a new show!

Perfect replacement for my Shimano 12-28. 11-32 works great! With a little modification it even works with my stock 105ss.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some bugs

Compatible but not identical

Remember that while it is compatible with Shimano, it is not a duplicate. If you're replacing a Shimano cassette with a 'same' SRAM cassette, plan for a rear derailleur adjustment. This is important for things like using an intelligent direct drive trainer.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Ok

Good 11X23 in sport

I bought the 11X23 version for my second set of wheels. Great gear set for flats and some of the hills around. This cassette comes in handy if you can't afford the Ultegra version. tight when installed. Shifts well. Let's look at durability over the next 2000 miles.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons

I purchased this cassette from Competitive Cyclist through Revain. .

I purchased this cassette from Competitive Cyclist through Revain. I had a hard time installing it on my bike. After some posts on Competitive Cyclist I have come to the conclusion that the hub on my bike is outdated. I had to send it back (not because something was wrong). The cyclist was very helpful.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Only available in black

SRAM quality and smooth shifting

finally installed it on my fat man winter wheel set (it has a slim 27.5 summer trim which we just took off to wait for snow) and it worked for much easier for me to climb hills. . SRAM products have never been faulty, they work right out of the box. I immediately noticed an improvement in shifting over the 1030, although maybe that's in my head haha.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Requires socket

Great upgrade to a shorter range cassette

The day I installed it I really appreciated 11th and 32nd gear during my hilly ride. It's easiest to install if you have a chain whip and cassette tool. An amazing upgrade for the high and low gear range and yet it seems to have all the intermediate gears you need. I can stay seated on anything under 10% of a hill and have a bit more speed for pedaling downhill. Shifting feels great with a Shimano derailleur.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons

Pretty sketchy. Missing lock and ring with 12 teeth

The seller was Unique E Store and Cassette 11-32 shipped from China. There isn't enough ring for 12 teeth and a snap ring and a pair of spacers. The packaging looked so patchy that I checked the reviews and saw that there were others with similar issues. The box has obviously been opened before. The rings were loose, but if they were truly new they needed to be fastened together. The rings come from the factory with a plastic clip that holds everything together. You were free.

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
