🔧 Enhanced SRAM Apex Front Brake Caliper Review

Added much-needed braking power to my fixed/single speed. Very nice and durable item that was installed in no time. Couldn't be happier.

I run fixed gear with front brake and this was a quality upgrade from the OEM product that came with my bike. Also nice that SRAM fits my Omnium crank 😎

One of the best budget calipers you can buy. Excellent stopping power. Works great with short drawbars (two fingers) for a fixed front brake only setup.

This brake is cute, it's cheap too and was a great upgrade, the pads work really well too, has a 700x25c tire/clincher rim and there's plenty of room to adjust. Used as the front brake on my SS exercise bike.

Great brakes but I don't know why this came up when looking for long offset calipers. Doesn't fit my wheels which is a shame as they don't have a comparable long range price. I wish it was listed somewhere.

Brakes are light, look very smooth and are well made. The stick pads hold well and don't make any noise. The brake came with several parts for different frame sizes. It was easy to assemble and braked great. Highly recommended.

I fixed it as a front brake and its stopping power seems adequate for road riding. They also seem good for the price (they fell short). I'm not expert enough to notice the modulation, but I think they have a decent range.

I didn't expect the brake to be the best for the price I paid but at a very reasonable price this brake is everything you can hope for. The sturdy and reliable construction gives you the feeling that this thing won't break anytime soon. It has a very simple circuit and was easy to install.
