Brakes and bike parts

Snap these onto your carbon fiber front wheel. Stops the bike on a dime. You have to turn off the brakes to avoid Endo at high speeds.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Modern

very quiet - parts and components

worth every penny. These pads are so smooth and quiet under braking, unlike my last cheapest ones. Pretty cool set of bike brake pads

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I don't remember but it was something

Works as intended for sport

I purchased these pads with a set of Profile Design CF wheels from Revain. Easy to install, works perfectly with CF wheels and without reducing braking power.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Ok

Looks good but collects dirt quickly

They look good and hold the bike great. They pick up road dust quickly, and my old black ones probably too. Just didn't show it like these light pads. We will check and report on the ease of cleaning.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Negative result available

Not as good as expected

Many reviews say this is one of the best carbon pads in both wet and dry conditions but I have found them less than satisfactory. On dry roads they are very soft and require a lot of pressure to stop the bike, while on wet roads you can start braking half a mile before your scheduled stop to actually stop. They leave marks on the braking surface of the rim, so for example after a ride I took them off and threw them in the trash. Lesson learned.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Mostly good but...
