Other product Sound SRAM

This cassette has stood the test of time and miles. I'm an ultra cyclist, so I have to train a lot. Honestly, I'm a big fan of SRAM. This product only reinforces that point. Calm. Proven. Perfect switching operations and long service life.

  • Certified
Cons

Counterfeit goods with plastic seals.

Beware of Fakes! The one I received is obviously a fake. It has plastic spacers and a standard lock sprocket. Genuine SRAM cassettes have a black locking sprocket with an embossed logo. The metal material looks like a cheap cast metal. The box is very convincing and looks authentic.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons

This cassette is not of very good quality.

Something is wrong with this cartridge. Sounds weird. I don't know if that's a real SRAM cassette. The weight and feel of the rings are very different from the SRAM cassette that was on my wheel. This cassette sounds "tinny" and weak when shifting. The second time this cartridge was cleaned, the thread on the end nut snapped.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • There are downsides

When switching it crunches. I'm not sure if it's the cable adjustment.

Cracking when shifting. I'm not sure if it's the cable adjustment. When I think of Zero Loss as advertised by SRAM, I think Zero Loss is lost when shifting because the brake cables are disconnected. Shifting on the bike has been very precise lately, but crisp if that makes sense. The chain does not seem to jump smoothly from gear to gear.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

I love the 36T at the sport

Bigger cassettes are becoming more common, but when I bought these there wasn't a lot of ways to top the 32T. I use mine with a SRAM Rival groupset so shifting is perfect (SRAM does good things except for their derailleurs). I use RoadLink which was easy to install and didn't give me any problems. The 36T has made a huge difference for me. I rarely use it, but when I need it, it helps. There is a 1.4 mile segment at 7% that ends at 0.4 miles at 15.7%. I can ride it at 32T, but with 36T I'm…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great cassette for 1x11 road and gravel rebuilds

I installed this cassette on two road bikes in the 11-42t range as part of a 1x11 drivetrain rebuild. This is an outstanding cassette with a wide price range. It runs smooth with SRAM PC-X1 chain and looks nice in black (I think 11-36 and under are chrome. Only 11-42 in black currently). Both bikes are fitted with a Shimano XT M8000 rear derailleur, a Wolftooth DropStop 44t chainring and Shimano 105 STI road derailleurs (They use a Wolftooth Tanpan to change the cable pull to work with an XT…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
