Just what I needed!

I changed the cassettes on my 1x7 and the most common choice I found online was 14x28t. With this 12x32t I get more reach at both ends. Perfect fit for my setup. Combined with the 39t front motor, this really offers a lot of off-road capability even though it has 7 gears.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Super nice good for drivetrain components

Really like this cassette. I had to switch to cassette for my new CDs, I chose Sram Sprocket and Sram Chain. They work great with my Shimano derailleur. Note that I had to use a 3.5 shim to mount the cassette to a rim made for a 10 speed cassette. The 3.5 spacer all worked flawlessly, didn't even have to adjust the derailleur.

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • Faulty

Great product, great price, great service!

Great price for a great cartridge. I had about 6k on my old cassette but had to replace it because the last chain was too long and stretched too much before I replaced it. Guilty. In any case, it is recommended to change the cassette about every third chain to ensure smooth shifting. Delivery in 2 days with standard shipping.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • boring packaging

Daily commuter for parts and components

About every two years I overhaul the transmission on my daily commuter bike (specialized Hard Rock mountain bike). I ride this bike about 6,000 miles a year across all four New England lands. seasons. I don't spend too much time maintaining the mechanics of this bike and have found that this cassette and similarly priced Shimano cassettes last about two years before needing replacement. To me, that's a reasonable balance between price and performance.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some bugs

Only one I could find!

My wife's beach cruiser had standard circuitry. It didn't work for her. She needs more space between them. I spent a lot of time looking for a set of gears that would work. These were the only ones. Most gear sets start at a very low level, but then fall back to the rest just like theirs. A limitation. This is "free". Her bike was freewheeling. Discover the difference. I had to buy another rear rim with hub to make it work, but it was worth it!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Smooth shifting, cheaper than changing gears

My 1995 Lemond Tormelet 7 speed just keeps going. No matter how well you take care of your bike, tires, chains and cassettes wear out. Most supplies are still easy to come by, but a 7-speed cassette will soon be hard to come by. My bike is sometimes used as a touring bike and even with the triple chainring I need a large sprocket. Buy some of these while you can. It's all on a cross so individual gears can't be replaced but hey this whole set consists of less than one gear supplied by QBP.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Protection
