Easy to use Auxiliary Power Port

I need a power outlet on the left side of the steering wheel so I don't have to run a cable from the center console to the left side charging/phone mount. This is a plus, as is the ability to always stay on if needed for constant charging or use as a power source for the DVR. Great device!

Just what I need

I used them to connect Rexing DVRs in my 2019 GMC Acadia and 2012 Porsche 911. Perfect. I don't use it in the - position, only in the 0 position, so I can't comment on its ability not to drain the battery. However, the 5-minute delay before the DVR shuts down works as advertised. The cable is more than long enough to get from the OBD port to the A-pillar and rearview mirror, with some slack you'll need to hide.

Simple and saves money!

After being offered a few hundred dollars to have the DVR installed professionally, I decided to do a do-it-yourself installation. It was a good choice and saved me a lot of money. It took me no more than an hour to find the OBD port and hide the cable out of sight of the dash cam. I recommend watching a DIY video on YouTube and seeing how easy it is. I also love that I didn't pay the store more than I paid for the dash cam to install it. so try it!

Outstanding Function Best Vehicle Safety and Protection

I previously posted a review which I need to correct now. While this was not a negative or positive review per se, I feel it was an unfair review so I would like to correct it. This item didn't fit my BMW's OBD port so I used it in my Mazda 3. It works exactly as advertised and has an option that I really like. Not as advertised! Car electronics

I ordered this item for a new car that I was planning to buy. I finally got my car, a 2021 GMC Arcadia Denali. I finally installed it, but after the return period had expired. When I first left the car for about 3 days, I found that the battery was dead.
